While the Northside of Indianapolis does have its fair share of private schools, most Zionsville-area students attend Zionsville High School. While Brebeuf and Herron are nearby, Zionsville itself does not have a stand-alone high school. This will change for the 2017-2018 school year. Traders Point Christian Academy, which already has a high school, will open a brand-new building, exclusively for high school students, this fall.

Traders Point Christian Academy can trace its beginnings to 1976. That year, it was founded as a nursery school, but it did not have an elementary program until 1990. By the end of the millennium, Traders Point Christian Academy had expanded even further, and it even added a middle school. By 1999, the school had a total of 500 students. The Traders Point Christian Academy high school as we know it today was actually founded back in 2008. By 2012, the students who enrolled in Traders Point Christian Academy back in 2008 were high school graduates. Since then, the academy has been graduating high schoolers every year.

New Building

Traders Point Christian Academy high school students have always had sufficient space, but they have never had a building to call their own. This will change in the fall semester of 2017. Traders Point Christian Academy will open a brand new high school. The building’s construction is ahead of schedule, and it is located on the main Traders Point grounds at the intersection of Whitestown Parkway and Indianapolis Road. This area is in extreme western Zionsville, and it is easily accessible from I-65. When it opens its doors, it will be the only stand-alone Christian academy in the area.

Traders Point Christian Academy’s high school is fully accredited, and it offers all the courses public and private students across the area normally take. In addition to typical courses, Traders Point Christian Academy has a heavy dose of theological courses. Additionally, students attend chapel on Fridays. Traders Point Christian Academy’s high school is ideal for students looking for a challenging curriculum that is enhanced by theological and spiritual teachings.

Tuition and Scholarships

For the 2017-2018 school year, full-year tuition at Traders Point Christian Academy’s high school is $11,750.00 per student. There is an additional $650.00 in fees per student as well. Tuition does not include other expenses like band instruments, athletics fees, lunch fees, and club fees. For many families, this tuition may seem unaffordable. Fortunately, Traders Point Christian Academy has plenty of need-based scholarships and financial aid programs. Consider talking to a Traders Point Christian Academy admissions professional if you are interested in enrolling your child.
