Stonycreek Farm is a popular, family-friendly farm located at 11366 State Road 38 East, just east of Noblesville. While Stonycreek’s nursery is open for most of the year, Stonycreek is particularly famous for its special events. There are many festivals and special occasions held at the farm throughout the year, including private events like hayride parties and weddings and public events like the Pumpkin Harvest Festival and Country Christmas.

Hayride Parties

Stonycreek Farm allows guests to reserve times for a private group hayride party between April 1st and October 31st. Hayride parties can occur between 6pm and 11pm, and they are in high demand, particularly in the fall. For this reason, groups are required to call in advance to reserve space for their hayride party. Reservations can be made over the phone or in person, but they must be finalized at least a week before the hayride party. There are a number of rental venues available for groups of all sizes. Some of Stonycreek’s outdoor spaces are perfect for smaller groups, but many of them have a 25-person minimum. The Barn Loft is a good venue for larger groups, but groups must have at least 100 people to book it. A free evening hayride is included with each hayride party, regardless of venue. Image title

Pumpkin Harvest Festival

The Pumpkin Harvest Festival is particularly popular at Stoneycreek Farm, occurring annually between late September and Halloween. Stonycreek opens at 10am and closes at 5pm during its Pumpkin Harvest Festival. Admission to the farm itself is free, but there is a $5.00 parking fee per vehicle. However, parking is free on Mondays. There are a number of activities during the Pumpkin Harvest Festival. During the week, there are hayrides, rubber ducky races and a haunted house, among other activities. Many of these attractions require at least one ticket for admission, which are purchasable from the farm. Many of these activities are available on the weekend as well. Some activities like candle making are only available on the weekend, however. Stonycreek Farm has a full list of activities available during its Pumpkin Haravest Festival on its website.

Country Christmas

Stonycreek Farms has an annual winter festival called Country Christmas. It occurs annually between the middle of November and the middle of December. The farm is closed on Thanksgiving. Guests can take hayrides to the farm’s field to pick out a Christmas tree. Hayrides to the fields are free, and Stoneycreek Farms provides saws to cut down its trees. There are many species of trees available, including Norway Spruces, White Pines and Canaan Firs. Tree costs depend on the size and species of the tree. The farm’s gift shop has many other holiday items such as fresh wreaths and poinsettias available for purchase during Country Christmas.

Weddings and Receptions

Many weddings and receptions are held at Stonycreek Farms. There are three venues available. The Barn Loft is 2400 square feet in size, which can fit around 100 guests. The Hay Barn is a smaller unit also available for rent. It is around 1500 square feet in size, and it can fit about 70 people at a time. The Stable is the third venue at Stonycreek Farms. It is about 1125 square feet in size, which can seat about 80 patrons. It also has a small, 200-square-foot porch. All venues have electricity, but heating and cooling units cannot be used.
