Neighborhood Profile Of Broad Ripple
If you're looking for a neighborhood with diverse nightlife, food, nightlife, and shopping, look no further than Broad Ripple! Once only seen as a neighborhood for partying college students, this "village" is home to so much more. Established in 1837 as an independent municipality and then annexed by the city of Indianapolis in 1922, Broad Ripple is known for its eclectic nature. Covering over 10 square miles, the neighborhood is bounded by White River on the north, Kessler Boulevard on the south, Evanston Avenue on the east, and Meridian Street on the west. This unique community continues to draw families, young couples, and professionals to its diverse housing options.
If you're into personal fitness, Broad Ripple is the spot for you! The neighborhood is home to several boutique & small fitness studios - such as The Dailey Method, Pure Barre, Fortitude Fitness, or True Fitness Wellness Center. These options are a major selling point for people living in the area. Or, if you like to take your fitness experience outside, definitely check out the nearby Monon Trail, Central Canal Towpath, or Broad Ripple Park.
