The BMW Championship returns to Crooked Stick Golf Club, one of the most exclusive and ritzy golf courses in Indiana. This course, in Carmel, IN, will host the 70 finalists of the PGA Tour Playoffs for the FedExCup. With $8.5 million at stake, the BMW Championship is a big-time sporting event in Central Indiana. Golf enthusiasts do not want to miss out on the opportunity to see this great event.



Schedule

The events for the BMW Championship officially begin on Tuesday, September 6th. This day is exclusively for practice. On Wednesday, Crooked Stick will host the Gardner Heidrick Pro-Am. Professional play begins the following day on September 8th. The second and third rounds are on September 9th and September 10th, respectively. The BMW Championship ends on Sunday, September 11th, with the Final Round.



Tickets

Tickets for this event start at just $25.00. For $25.00, visitors are admitted to the Tuesday practice round. However, to see one of the main rounds of the BMW Championship, the rounds held on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday, tickets cost $78.00 per person per day. Admission to the entire week of BMV Championship events is $200.00, a significant savings. There are more expensive and exclusive ticket options available as well. The BMW Championship website has a full listing of these advanced ticketing packages available for purchase.


Volunteers

Currently, volunteers are not needed for the BMW Championship. However, there is a waiting list. If volunteers are needed, they will be contacted for their services. For $145.00, volunteers can sign up. As a token of appreciation, volunteers are gifted a bunch of BMW Championship apparel, a weeklong access badge, admission to the Volunteer Appreciate Party and many other items.

The 2016 BMW Championship will be held at Crooked Stick Golf Club, which is located in the western portion of Carmel. The main entrance is located at 10803 Thunderbird Drive. Tuesday through Friday of the tournament, free parking is available at 2300 West 146th Street in Westfield. On Saturday and Sunday of the tournament, free parking is available at 11815 North Pennsylvania Street in Carmel. A shuttle will provide free transportation from both parking areas. Anyone in the nearby area is welcome to travel to the BMW Championship on foot. Bicyclists can park their bikes at 2299 Augusta Lane in Carmel. Owners of BMW vehicles receive special treatment at this tournament. Parking for BMW owners is available in an upgraded, complimentary lot. BMW owners can gain access to this lot by filling out some information when they order their tickets.
